The pope and socialism

http://news.yahoo.com/pope-demands-legitimate-redistribution-wealth-103132075.html

In short, I will expand on this but for now, here it goes.

I believe in God, Moses and the Ten Commandments.  I believe in teaching a man to fish rather than giving him a fish.

Let’s examine the facts (in short).  America, a capitalistic economy has given more money to Africa than any other country.  Why is America able to do this, because we are a free society and we are in charge of our own fate (until the government takes it away).  Africa is full of dictators and warlords.  The supplies and resources provided by America are not distributed to the people who need it.

For the pope to call upon the UN to act as a mediator is an insult to all free people and people who wish to be free.  The UN is full of representatives from countries that are run by dictators and have some of the worst human rights violations there are.

I am insulted by the Pope for saying that America needs to become a socialist country and that we as Americans need to be told by the government how much money we are allowed to make.

The pope should look at Norway, and see how a welfare state collapses onto itself.

After living in Argentina, the pope should understand how socialism works.  Argentina has taken over the oil and natural resources and they still have not equalized the people of the country.

The pope needs a lesson in economics 101, and a history lesson to understand that socialism only makes people poorer, not more equal.

Although I have been silent for 2 years, I am coming back.  I am tired of the attacks on my country, on my faith and on my freedom.
